Red Ribbon Week

October 24th- 28th

In recognition of National Red Ribbon Week, we are encouraging our faculty and students to participate in the below activities throughout the week. Red Ribbon week focuses on making healthy choices and pledging to live a drug free life.

Monday-  “I’m ‘Red’y’ to Say No to Drugs!”

Wear as much red as possible.

Tuesday-   “It’s Crazy to Do Drugs!”

Wear mismatched clothes, socks, shoes, hairstyles, backwards, etc.

Wednesday- “Drugs Can’t Find Me!”

Wear camouflage clothing, shoes, boots, etc.

Thursday-  “Team Up Against Drugs!”

Wear your club t-shirt. If you are not in a club, wear your favorite team gear (jerseys, colors, etc).

Friday-  “Twin Day!”

Match someone else’s drug free SWAG!

Here are some more ideas to make this year’s Red Ribbon Week Celebration the best yet!

  • Enter the Red Ribbon Photo Contest for a chance to win an iPad for you and your family - and $1,000 for your school.

  • Take a stab at creating the 2017 National Red Ribbon Theme. Gain national recognition and $500 of Red Ribbon theme merchandise for your school. This year's theme was created by two middle school students in Claysburg, Pennsylvania!

  • Make a drug free pact with your friends. Promise to hold each other accountable to it.

If students are interested in any of these activities, they can be found at http://www.redribbon.org/activities/students/index.html
